Absolute Parties Terms & Conditions.
When you buy your theme party supplies from Absolute Parties it is given that you have read and understand the following terms and conditions of sale.
We have tried to make these terms and conditions easy to read. If you come across any terms you don't understand please contact us we will be happy to help.
You do not need to become a member to buy from us. Members are customers who have bought from us in the past, and whose that have discounts voucher's only.
Supply. We undertake to supply you with the goods as described on this website. If you have an urgent order it is always advisable to discuss your requirements with us by phone first, to make sure that we can deal with your order, in a timely fashion. If you fail to collect your items from the Post Office or arrange re-delivery from our couriers., the items are then returned to us. We will then wait 14 days before we will resell. Your money, will be refunded, minus the postage and packing costs, on the 14th day.
Contact. We will only contact you in connection with your instructions and keep you well-informed, should we have any difficulties providing you with the specific goods ordered or the delivery date. We will not e-mail you at all without your permission. Therefore in order to receive any discounts you will need to subscribe to our newsletter.
Delivery. We rely on the Royal Mail and a courier service to deliver your goods in a timely manner. When goods do not arrive on time, as requested, please e-mail us or phone. We will be happy to arrange re-delivery for you, provided that the selected goods are still available. Where this is not possible a refund will be given. We will not, however, be liable for any extra losses above and beyond the orginal cost of the goods and the postage costs there of, that you may have incurred by the action of these third parties.
Refunds. In the event of your items being lost in the mail, or you're not happy with the product supplied and a replacement is not acceptable, the original goods need to be returned in a re saleable condition. (If lost in the post, you cannot return it to us, unless it turn's up at a latter date.) Once we have received the goods back, we will refund your money back to you , in the way in which we received it. The exception to this rule is if you pay by postal order, will receive a company cheque. All refunds given within 30 days from the date of your order. (Don't worry it is normally much quicker that!) Please ensure that your goods are returned to us via recorded delivery, as we are not responsible for items lost in this return post, you are. If we do not receive a goods back, we cannot refund.
Cancellation rights. Under the terms of the Distant Selling Regulations, you have 14 days in which to cancel your order placed with us, and 21 days to return the goods to us. This is called your "cooling off " period.You can also unsubscribe our newsletter at any time - simply e-mail us "news letterstop."
Payment. We liked or our customers a wide range ways, both off-line and on-line ways to pay for your goods. We do this as a service to you as we know that not everybody is confident buying online. You can pay online, using your credit card or Paypal balance, or with your credit or debit card via Nochex. Or if you would prefer, you can send us a cheque or postal order in post. This latter service is only available for UK Sterling cheques and Postal Orders. We suggest that if you, wish to send your payment to in the post. You post them to us by Recorded Delivery. Please be advised that we are not responsible cheques and postal orders, which go missing in the post to us. It takes the UK banking system six working days to completely clear your cheque into our bank account. We do not post your goods out until we have all the full cleared payment into our account.
VAT. We do not charge VAT on anything, as we are not yet VAT registered, however when we do become VAT registered. We will be charging it at the then current rate.
Complaints. Although we don't have in place an offical complaint procedure to take your complaints. We do however, take your complaints very seriously. We would advise you to e-mail us or phone, clearly and politely stating what the problem is and how you would like us to resolve it. We will then take all reasonable steps to ensure a happy outcome for both you and us. We aim to deal with all complaints within 48 hours of receiving them. During busy periods such as Christmas, the sheer volume of our work may cause a slight delay. Please, if you have not heard back from us within 4 working days, resend your complaint.,as it would seem that we have not received it. We reserve the right not to deal with people who treat us unfairly, or are rude and abusive.
Advertising and Links. Our website contains adverts and links to other sites. Please be advised, that Absolute Parties is in no way responsible for the content of these other sites. Your contract is between you and that website alone. And you agree that absolute parties is not liable for these other sites.
Discounts & Vouchers. From time to time we make use of discounts and voucher schemes, which are open to our valued customers only. Any misuse of these schemes will lead to all of your orders being cancelled, and you being blocked from using this website. These vouchers and discount codes can only be used once, by that account. Once used the code will become invalid. Persons found to be sharing the code will be blocked from this site, and any orders in place will be cancelled. Unless they have been given permisson by us to share that code. Discount vouchers are also time limited. So it's a case of "use it, or lose it!"
Indemnity. You agree to indemnify Absolute Parties against all and any expenses, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses incurred suffered and any claims or legal proceedings, which are brought or threatened, in each case arising from your use of our website or our products.
Law and jurisdiction. Any purchase made on this website is governed by English consumer law. When you buy from us, is taken as understood that you have read and understand all the terms and conditions given above, and that you agree to abide by them.
